This deserves a song; and someone ought to have let Job know. I’ve often suspected that the “7 sons and 3 daughters” at the end of the book of Job are symbolic, and Institutionalised religion, as ever, has whitewashed the original story.

A tricky question: If these are the facts, what does “God”‘s insistence that Job waits until he’s about 100 years old before life starts say about the morality of “God”?
