Animated or Passivated?
Imagine a beautiful, seemingly unique world where the marginally-dominant species of ape are so demented that they invent a socio-economic system so destructive that most people spend ages in traffic jams on their way to and from increasingly worthless ‘employment’.
Imagine these people so weary and confused that they haven’t a hope of successfully parenting their children.
Imagine spare capital being devoted to enslaving most of the victims for life, through buy-to-let, addictive tobacco and alcohol, addictive slushy media, …
Imagine the never-ending invention of more escape mechanisms so that the tyrants and victims can repress the awareness of their symbiotic death dance.
Imagine the Unfathomable Mystery presenting symptoms to those people to help them wake – and the pharmaceutical-leisure ‘industries’ providing more whitewash to cover the signs.
The best evidence of the being mode – being alive – is animated creativity. It’s dark cousin is leisure passivity.

Really sir, you must compose yourself. I fear the world and its shallow somewhat intelligent beings will only become worse. We can only wait and watch. Good thing that we're middle-aged and won't live to see the inevitable. I do hope that plants and animals sans humans survive though. The planet will one day shrug off the parasite human.
